NASA Space Apps Challenge 2015 !

Calling all engineers, technologists, scientists, designers, artists, educators, students, entrepreneurs, hackers, and makers!

We are happy to announce that there will once again be a Seattle site for NASA’s International Space Apps Challenge!

While “apps” may be a part of our name, the challenges cut across science, technology, engineering, arts, and math application for space rather than just software apps. And yes, you read that correctly, art is included. It doesn’t matter what your skill set is or where your talents lie. If you have a passion for space you have a place at the Space Apps Challenge!

This year there are 35 challenges spread across four different themes: Outer Space, Earth, Humans, and Robotics. Within these themes the challenges are further broken out by difficulty and range from easy to advanced.

Begin exploring this year’s challenges here! Our event will be based at Jigsaw Renaissance in the International District and we have partnered with SoDo Makerspace, which has additional space and equipment available.

At this time we are asking for $15 donation per ticket to help us cover expenses. In light of the break in and robbery that occurred at The Seattle Attic Community Workshop on March 17th, we have decided to donate any profit resulting from sponsor and participant donations to The Attic.

To learn more about our event please visit Seattle Space Apps!

To Sign-up PLEASE REGISTER ON THE OFFICIAL SITE & EVENTBRITE (we are promoting this on multiple meetup groups and want accurate headcount)

We are still looking for sponsors, please feel free to email us with any further questions!
